Your external design department
CAD experts for your design work: we take it over in full or in part – to your standards, in your CAD system and with our own programs that automate routine work.

Design to customer specifications is our core business. For some companies we are already part of their design department today: we design assemblies and machines, create drawings and parts lists and keep the data up to date – with permanent contacts and with capacity whenever you need it.
We bring our own tools: programs for Inventor and Vault that derive drawings, place standard parts and check parts lists. Routine work gets done faster, leaving more time for what remains engineering work – concept, design and responsibility.
Design in transition
Design work is becoming more and more automated: rules and configurators generate variants, drawings and parts lists. And artificial intelligence is changing how quickly such programs can be written.
- Program7,000 lines, written with AI support.
- FastenersRivets, screws and thread inserts by fixed rules.
- MachineComponents with screw, spring washer and washer.
- CheckingChecked on saving, errors reported and corrected.
- VariantsOne workshop cabinet in 100 variants.
- ResultRoutine work by program, approval by the design engineer.
Programs instead of routine work
Whatever repeats in every project is taken over by a program – the same way every time and without transfer errors.
AI as a tool
AI helps us with programming and with preparing large amounts of data. The results are always checked by a design engineer.
Your standards in the program
Drawing frames, standard parts, materials and parts list format are stored once and then applied automatically.
Responsibility stays with people
Concept, design, safety and approval remain engineering work – checked and signed off by our design engineers.
Programs with around 7,000 lines of code, which five years ago would still have required several programmers, we now write ourselves – with AI support and the know-how from our own design work.
Our own tools
A selection of the programs we have written for Inventor and Vault and use in our projects:
Drawings
Derive drawings automatically from parts and assemblies, check and update them, replace title blocks, place sketch symbols, colour views, create centre-of-gravity tables.
Model & assembly
Group the holes of an assembly and change them together, replace standard parts in one go, place thread inserts and blind rivets automatically.
Checking & marking
Mark threads and fits in colour on saving, find missing drawings and broken references.
Materials & libraries
Maintain the material library via Excel, assign materials and appearances automatically, our own standard parts library.
Variants
Configurator for a machine series: enter the main dimensions – model, drawings and parts list are created by fixed rules.
Data & parts lists
Check parts lists and export them with links, monitor revisions, archive old versions automatically.
We adapt these tools to your standards – or write new ones for your design work. More under design automation.
How we work together
You decide how much we take on – from a single project to entire areas of your design work.
Individual projects
A design, a system or a change package – with quotation and deadline.
Fixed hour contingents
Plannable capacity for ongoing tasks, called off as needed.
Part of your design department
We take over areas of your design work permanently – with permanent contacts and your standards.
On site with you
Meetings and assignments at your premises by arrangement, at a surcharge.
The design work remains our responsibility: you receive models, drawings and parts lists on the agreed date – also with an hour contingent.
Data, AI and security
Outsourcing your design work means handing over your know-how. That is why clear rules apply with us:
- We never put sensitive data into an AI.
- For company data we are building our own AI that runs only on our server.
- We work in your CAD system or in Inventor and Vault at our office – every file versioned.
- Released versions reach you encrypted, automatically synchronised on request.
- Our processes are certified to ISO 9001.
Scope of services
Design & drawings
3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings to your specifications – in Inventor or your CAD system.
Parts lists & data management
Complete parts lists, versioned in Vault and linked to drawing and storage location.
Standard parts & materials
Consistent standard parts and materials from a maintained library.
Programs & automation
iLogic rules, configurators and checking programs that take over routine work in your design department.
Calculation & documentation
FEM calculation, assembly instructions and CE documentation from a single source.
Changes & maintenance
Changes incorporated cleanly, with revision status and archive.
How we work
- Getting to know each otherClarify tasks, CAD system, drawing frames, standard parts and filing.
- First projectA manageable order shows how the collaboration works.
- Define the frameworkProject, hour contingent or fixed areas – with contacts on both sides.
- Ongoing design workModels, drawings and parts lists to your standards, the data always up to date.
- AutomateWhatever repeats becomes a program – agreed with you.
Tools
We work in our clients’ systems – and bring our own programs.
- Inventor
- Vault
- iLogic
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- CATIA V5
- Own programs Inventor & Vault
Your design status – always up to date
Released versions are transferred automatically and encrypted to your project folder: drawings, 3D models and parts lists as PDF, DWG or STEP.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work in our CAD system?
Yes. We work in Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or CATIA V5 – whichever suits your data. Data management runs via Vault; you receive released versions as PDF, DWG or STEP.
Do you also come to our premises?
Yes, by arrangement. We charge a surcharge for on-site assignments.
How do you invoice?
Depending on the task, as a project with a quotation or via a fixed hour contingent.
How do you handle AI and our data?
We never put sensitive data into an AI. For company data we are building our own AI that runs only on our server.
Can you write programs for our design department?
Yes. We write iLogic rules, configurators and checking programs for Inventor and Vault – tailored to your templates, standard parts and processes.
What distinguishes you from a staffing agency?
The design work is our responsibility: we work with our own tools and permanent contacts and deliver models, drawings and parts lists – also with an hour contingent.
