Special machinery
Machines built on our own concepts – from assembly stations to production lines for PTFE liners.
To the projects →Realise ideas that work
Smartly engineered. Proven worldwide. Future-proof.
Experience engineering up close – from planning to installation.

Special-purpose machine for lining steel pipes with PTFE liners: the pipe is placed with the jib crane and clamped in the holder, then the machine draws in the liner. Operator platform, cable carriers and controls are part of the design – from the 3D model to the manufacturing drawings.

From the first sketch to the finished plant, we support your project with comprehensive expertise – from concept and analysis through to realisation. Since 1998 from Pforzheim, Germany – for clients in Baden-Württemberg, throughout Germany and worldwide.
More about CAD design →CARIBIC is a long-term research project operating a fully equipped measurement laboratory in a container on board a specially modified Airbus A350 passenger aircraft, automatically probing the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere during flight and collecting samples for detailed analysis.

From layout to a fully planned plant.

From device to flow diagram – engineered to production readiness.

One contact from manufacturing to handover.
Standard-compliant for manufacturing, illustrative for sales and trade fairs.

With our own technical writer – documentation that brings machines safely to market.

Plant for processing residues containing precious metals, in two lines: process vessels with agitators, dosing of the media from the storage tanks, operator platform and separate controls for each line. Enclosure with viewing windows and extraction – designed as a 3D overall model with piping and bill of materials.

Simulations replace costly manufacturing iterations: the operational strength of a design is verified before anything is made.
More about FEM & CFD simulation →The animation runs back and forth and shows how cooling air spreads through the housing – vortices, dead zones and bottlenecks become visible before a prototype is built.
More about CFD simulation →
Combined simulation of heat and air flows shows which temperatures occur in operation – each line is the path of the cooling air through the housing.
More about CFD simulation →Frequency ranges are shifted by adapting the geometry so that components neither vibrate nor fatigue in service.
More about FEM simulation →Scroll through the simulation: the structure is loaded step by step, the colour scale shows stress from low to high.
More about FEM simulation →Forces and moments are applied as they act in operation – derived from the design, not estimated.
More about FEM simulation →Highly loaded structures are checked for stress and dimensioned precisely – material where it is needed, saved where it is not.
More about FEM simulation →The exaggerated deformation makes component behaviour easy to understand; the safety factor decides on release for manufacturing.
More about FEM simulation →What we do – and what we work with. Engineers, draughtsmen and a technical writer under one roof.
Special-purpose machinery with concepts of our own.
From factory layout to flow diagram.
Verified before manufacturing.
With our own technical writer.
We work in our customers' systems.
Every revision versioned, every change traceable – and available to you in real time.
Automation systems developed from the process: feeding, handling, joining, inspecting, placing – in cycle.
Competitive engineering: fewer parts, fewer process steps, less material – with room for variants and new regulations.
We take over your design work in full or in part – to your standards, with permanent contacts and our own programs that automate routine work.
No e-mail attachments, no outdated drawings: whatever is released on our side is in your project folder minutes later.
On request in the other direction too: your specifications, review notes and red-pen comments reach our designers by the same route.
How the synchronisation works →From test rig to finished machine – a development in four stages.
More about prototype development →
Function comes first: a test rig built from standard parts shows whether the principle works – before a single manufacturing drawing is made.

The principle becomes a design: drive, spring pack and fixture take shape in 3D CAD – the section view makes every function easy to follow.

The design becomes a machine: guard, control system, operator panel and safety equipment – built for daily use.

The machine is complete: built, commissioned and accepted. Development, manufacturing and installation from a single source.
Functional models, fasteners and small series using FDM – with high-performance plastics such as ULTEM, Nylon 12CF and PC-ISO, up to 914 × 610 × 914 mm in one piece (large parts on a partner machine).
3D printing is carried out by our partner company novoprint3D in Pforzheim – we design, novoprint3D prints. Consulting and handling from a single source on request.

Since 1998 we have been developing components, machines, automated systems and plants together with renowned companies. Our standard: designs that endure in operation – because smartly engineered machines, components and plants run longer. From our office in Pforzheim we serve clients throughout Baden-Württemberg and Germany.
Quality is not a promise for us but a certified standard. As an owner-managed office we combine top-level expertise with a flexibility that large service providers cannot offer.
With us you talk directly to the people who do the engineering: engineers, draughtsmen and a technical writer – Josip Heger and Simon Heger manage every project personally, with no intermediate levels, from the first meeting to acceptance.
We apply our services – from design and planning to simulation and CE documentation – across very different industries. Four of them shape our work in particular:
Machines built on our own concepts – from assembly stations to production lines for PTFE liners.
